New Review: "Should You Buy a 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage?"

Here is a new Canadian review that came out today.

I think it gave a pretty balanced viewpoint.

It's a pretty honest review. I owned some of those older cars with less horsepower.

This is the part that I sometimes forget, however. Some of those older cars weren't expected to go that fast. When I was younger, the speed limits were 55 mph pretty much everywhere. My 1990 Ford Festiva was only 63 horsepower, & the speedometer only went up to 85 mph. In all honesty, I didn't feel all that unsafe in those older cars because of the lower speed limits. My old Festiva was never pushed to go as fast as my Mirage is today.

Yes, today's cars have way more safety features, but I can't say I feel all that safe in a Mirage in somewhat heavy traffic going 70-80 mph either.

from a purely rational standpoint, it’s a sound purchase. From an emotional standpoint, well, not so much.
    Can't argue with that.

I also liked the list of "low power" cars the reviewer owned. I noticed he never had a Firefly/Metro [55 hp]!

I was shocked/happy that he was reviewing a base model 5-speed!
