I just stumbled upon this Niro for sale. 2018 Niro plug in hybrid with 90,000kms(56,000miles) for $14,500($11,450usd).
This looks like a bargain! 20 6x6 military trucks with a starting bid of $3000 canadian peso's. But they are to be sold and destroyed

"On the move, it looked quite bad, and stationary, when you could really get a good look at it, it looked even worse."

If you are interested in buying this, take note (also from same article) -
"If the mug on this thing wasn’t enough to spook you, wait until you get the nasty surprise from the airbag when you fire it up — from 2001 Mitsubishi had to recall all Pajero Juniors for their tendency to blow up in your face at start-up."
I would make sure there is proof of the recall work being done before purchase.
On a positive note - a vehicle like this makes a Mirage look somewhat modern by today's standards.
I honestly had no idea it actually came like that from the factory! I thought someone just put some nasty aftermarket body kit on it. I remember seeing some other jdm cars with retro looking bodies. This one^ has got to be the ugliest by far.
It also looked like it had wheels from a Cherokee Attachment 22116
1996 Z3M roadster, that's a 4 cylinder engine from what I understand, and a 5 speed manual. Pretty cool car,. I like the side gills looks retro in the same way that the PT Cruisers, New Beetles etc of that era were doing the retro look.
