I had never heard of the Suzuki Ignis til now. Subcompact 4 x 4. That sounds a lot like the old Suzuki SX4 hatchback they used to sell. Looks a lot like that small Fiat Jeep suv, the Renegade.

Can't help but notice all their trim levels are available in 5 speed manual.

Any time Suzuki is mentioned, I harp about not being able to buy a Jimny.

Let us buy Jimny's at a Suzuki motorcycle dealership as a "sidebyside"

Yeah, a reasonably priced solid-axle modern Sammy would be pretty cool. The prices people are asking for side by sides is getting ridiculous. I saw on the other day for sale for over 60k. Here's a used one that's 2-3 years old and they want $50,000(40,000usd).

I don't understand it. I just built a new (base) Jeep on their Canadian site & with delivery, before Tax was 40,540.00.Why would anyone pay 50,000.00 for a used 4 wheeler they can't even drive on the road??? Guess I'm just from a different world... But I don't understand the 90,000.00 trucks that are used to haul air, either...
I didn't know what to do, so I didn't do anything

I agree. Hauling air with the supertrucker bullwinkle tow mirrors extended pulling ghost trailers around.

I sorta get people hauling air if they actually ever need a truck but can't have multiple vehicles. But I don't think most people need a truck. I used my truck as a daily for a while once I realized it was just as fuel efficient as my caravan was lol.
Now it's just parked and only used for camping or quading trips.

I used to say I'd never spend over 10k on something I'm just gonna take out in the bush and run into trees and rocks, burry in mud, and only use 6 months out of the year. Then I became a hypocrite spending 20x what I paid for my Mirage on a side by side almost 2 years ago. But people were wanting close to new prices for used and still are today. I sold my two old rzrs for a good price so it wasn't a huge extra expense to buy a new one. But my side by side is the most expensive thing I have ever bought with wheels. And it didn't come with a heater or any windows....
I justify buying it because I put more miles on this new one in the last two summers than I did on my one rzr over the last 10 years.

I found a 10 year old fancy spec Volt for sale locally that's relatively affordable. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/...-117k/m3032947 Attachment 22805
I googled the vin and came up with it for sale in Texas presumably years ago http://www.2040-cars.com/chevrolet/V...arfax-1160031/
I'd still like to try(buy) a plug in hybrid one year but the car would probably be scrapped before I recoup the extra cost in fuel savings over my current turd.

I've been tossing around the idea of selling my pickup and getting something like this. I think it'd be ideal for camping/quading or trips to home depot. Though it'd be even more of a thirsty expensive pig at the pumps. We're probably only leaving town a couple times this year, might as well go big lol. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details...dId=1576985194
