I just serviced the newest Mirage in the fleet (at my location). It's a 2019 with 128,000km(79500 miles). It was bought and put into service exactly 2 years ago.

My 2013 1.0 manual transmission Mirage had its MOT a couple of days ago and after a re-test passed with 121,053 miles on the clock.

We have quite stringent emissions limits here in the UK and my Mirage failed on emissions initially, but an oil change and some cat cleaner got it through. The MPG and response are as good as ever, but I fear the catalytic converter may cause me issues when I come to MOT it again next year. The Mirage catalytic converter is a pricey part over here.

The only issues I've had over the years have been a replacement radiator (it was leaking but never overheated) and the heater matrix only heats the passenger side of the car (right hand drive).

Our highest mileage in the fleet(that's still in use) is up to 417,000kms/259,000 miles now. It's got the original drivetrain and accessories still. Replaced one front wheel bearing @343k kms. Hatch shocks around 150,000km. Otherwise just needed light bulbs, brakes, belts, and other regular maintenance(oil changes, spark plugs, air filter, tires).

I looked back at my records and the cvt fluid wasn't changed until 137,000kms.
Then again at 194,000 along with the cartridge filter.
And just the fluid change at 247,000.
Fluid and cartridge filter at 278,000kms.
    Replaced both filters at 304,000kms.
Then just another fluid change at 367,000kms.

I don't recall why the cartridge filter was replaced so often? I don't have any more filters so I've just been changing just the fluid for these things. It looks like changing the fluid regularly and the filter should help these cvt's last.

    Freshly 200000 km.

Anyone get mildly depressed when they do the math to figure out how much time they would have spent driving? I bought mine with 28000 km in 2016, so I would have driven about 170000 km in 5 years. That's 34000 km per year on average. If we assume an average speed of 80 km, which is being generously fast, that's about 1.2 hours a day driving. If my waking like is 16 hours, I've spent 7.5% of it driving over the last 5 years.

I guess I'll update my own car. 2014 cvt Just hit 290,000km the other day. It'll be good for another 400,000 with the newish drivetrain transplant. It now identifies as a 2017 but still looks like a 2014.

I had 277000 miles on that '82 Dodge Aries K car with the 2.6 Mitsu 4 banger. Replaced one head gasket and timing chain guides at 150000 miles, rebuilt trans (3 speed auto) at 200000 miles and thick film ignition board (in distributor) about then, too.

Observed it still in operation several years after selling....

Those Chrysler Torqueflite 3spd autos were very dependable. My Mom had it in her '92 Plymouth Acclaim. It was getting hard to shift out of Park, but otherwise still shifted smooth as silk going down the road with over 180k miles.
