Thread: How many miles/kilometers on your Mirage/Space Star so far? (PLUS! Leaderboard)

  1. #581
I'll have to update our highest fleet cars one day. I had a 2017 in the shop the other day with 425,000kms/264,000miles. It puts on about 3700 miles every 3 weeks so should be over 328,000 miles by this time next year if it doesn't get written off by then....

Our highest overall mileage in the fleet (2015) with 482,000km(299,000miles) doesn't get used much. Waiting to put a new driver in it. I should probably do a compression test on it one day. It seems pretty sluggish.

My own car hit 300,000km/186,000miles the other day.

I just realized one of our 2017's is putting on almost 12,000km a month. It's got close to 436k km(270,000MILES) on it so still has a ways to go to catch up to stevedmc. It's still rocking the original drivetrain.

Our highest mileage 2015(cvt replaced at 300k km) is currently being used by temp drivers, it had 483k km(300,000miles) back in June.
Our highest mileage original cvt car is still a 2015 with around 460,000km(285k miles) but it was in an accident a month or so back. It'll probably be repaired but not sure when.

What percentage of your fleet is Mirages these days?

As you lose Mirages, what's been replacing them?

My 2015 has 160k on it plus cvt started sliping couple days ago. Traction light stayed on. Dumped oil swapped side/main filter. Runs like a champ for now traction light gone. Hopefully 200k

Used Mirage's! Nv200's are extinct and though the drivetrains are holding up, everything else about them is junk.
The price of a new comparable Mirage is almost $8k more than it was in 2015. So for the mean time I guess we might be on the look out for decent used white cvt Mirages that have keyless entry.

How much for my poverty spec specimen? It's white! I can add keyless for the right price. Road trip!

I’ll keep them in mind. Basically want the es plus specs:ac, keyless entry, Bluetooth, and has to be an automagic transmission. And has to be white…Basically need a body that is in good shape, can be blown up for all I care. I have lots of engines laying around at work.

But I don’t think there’s a big rush at the moment though. There are a bunch of cars sitting idle already. Guaranteed there’ll be a couple written off by next spring though. It’s probably cheaper to just fix a couple of the write off parts cars we have laying around.
