My 2017 Mirage ES has 142,000 miles on it now. Only repairs were 3 sets of front pads, 3 sets of tires, replaced exhaust rubber hangers for rattle noise, driver's side power window motor came loose, and finally the radiator fan motor froze and the fan sheared off.

We will have it paid off next month and getting a 2023 G4 around that time. Keeping the 2017 also.

Since you won't have a 5speed G4 option anymore I'd go up a few trims Johnny. My wife's Black Edition G4 was an extra $1500 than my 2021 ES but it was worth it to her. The leather wrapped/red stitching steering wheel feels fantastic, the new red and black seat design looks sharp with better body supporting material IMO, there's a lot of soft touch material and piano black everywhere. The fog lights, auto welcome lights, auto lights, and rain sensing wipers just make it feel a lot less econobox when you slip in it. I find myself using the G4 whenever I'm able, it's a treat.

All new trims come with LEDs brake lights now. The only difference between the SE and the BE is the SE has a proximity key, push button start, a different colored dash light (no more easy on the eyes orange) but a bright, light blue and LED headlights. The BE is cheaper and looks cooler/different with the new rear spoiler, red frontal accent, gorgeous black alloys, and those unique patterned seats I mentioned early. Also the shifter has a nice leather/red stitching appearance like the steering wheel.

Spoil yo self Mullet. You deserve it. Also if you can, get them to throw in an install of the OEM cargo netting in the trunk, it's well designed.

I cant recommend a strong, professionally done window tint enough either. We did 25% 3M Charcoal all around, really helps our little HVAC systems out, reduces bright glare from LEDs glaring in your rear view mirror too.
