Anyone on fuelly?

Who tracks their mileage on fuelly?
I've been doing it on each fill up since new. I'm flirting with 40mpg to a tank almost.



I have the highest numbers for all new corollas with the 1.8 that I've seen.

I've been tracking mine for years on Fuelly also. I also track mileage on the official EPA site also where you can keep a fuel log and people can look and compare to the advertised mpg. Needless to say I'm the only person maintaining a fuel log for 2019 Outlander Sport 5 speed.

The Rolla is right in the mix with the mirage. I've yet to do an actual run on the freeway over 10mi though.

I filled up the other day. It was 48 mpg for that tank. I never see anything below 40 mpg during the summer months no matter what type of driving I do.

I've never had a tank be as low as your Corolla any time of the year including -20F conditions. I'm sure you could get above 40 mpg with easy going highway miles some day.

You also have 1k pounds less mass(mass equals safer)to move and way less safety features not to mention about half the horsepower lol. Also most of your driving is the ideal 55-60mph on country roads if I remember correctly. Mine is half and half city streets with lights and half 65-70 7-10mi freeway stints. I actually hit a trip avg of 56mpg this morning just cruising a few miles at 50on backroads. One day I'll go over to lake Michigan which is about 1hr on country roads where I did my 3 part mirage video and was getting 54mpg

Thanks for stating the obvious differences between a Mirage & a Corolla. Toyota Corolla is a great car!

I drive through the Fox Valley area of Wisconsin quite quite often. I drive everywhere with my Mirage. Twin Cities, Madison, Green Bay, Appleton, Milwaukee, Chicago, trips to Michigan (upper & lower), Minnesota, Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, North Dakota. It's not flat where I live, & you are climbing hills pretty much everywhere you go. I am quite impressed that the Mirage gets 40-50 mpg no matter what type of driving I do.

I really like the 3-cylinder charm of the 5-speed Mirage. I don't see myself ever being interested in a sedan, but I have no doubt the Corolla is a wonderful car. I'm sure you'll get 40+ mpg on the highway some day!
