    Nice, well you obviously read some misinformation or interpreted it wrong. I usually just drain and refill. Pull the plug and get about 2.5L. Jack up the back of the car and get another 1/2L.

    I can't remember how much you get by dropping the pan and filter(screen/strainer). If you wanna get even more out pull the valve body out(I wouldn't bother). Not much comes out when you pull the cartridge filter(like I mentioned already).
