Did any of the manual mirages come with a leather gear/shift knob that can be installed on a 2021?
I think I've seen one but not sure if it came on the mirage or an Evo x.

Since 2018, only the base level ES trim level comes standard with a 5-speed manual transmission. The ES does not come with a leather shift knob. Shift knobs screw off and can be replaced with something else. I'm sure someone has done it on the forum.
If owning a 5-speed manual is your top priority, your Mirage shopping just got easier (one trim level).
I would test drive a Mirage asap. Otherwise, you "have the cart before the horse" in my opinion.

There are literally no Mirages at dealers in Hawaii.
Yes, the 2014 and 2015 ES models and 2017 SE models would have the leather shift knob.
It is part number 2470A033XA, and can be purchased new online from a Mitsubishi parts seller for about $125.

Not to change the subject but I just learned that are separate part numbers indicating the leather knobs.
1) 2470A033XA from 14-15 Mirage ES
2) 2470A057XA from 17 Mirage SE
And #2 is much cheaper than #1. #2 has more appeals I supposed? If only I could see clear pictures.
