Are the Mirage and the G4 even built on the same platform?

I honestly have no idea why they even refer to those two vehicles as "the same" car - at least in name. They are completely different beasts, esp. w.r.t. the interiors.

Isn't the G4 actually sold as a Dodge in Mexico?

Oddly enough the Mirage SE spec says synthetic leather/cloth while the G4 SE says leather/cloth which leads you to believe the G4 is better equipped
This is not a simple copy and paste error or the description would be the same.

Pretty sure they're the same car.

I always do a plus/minus analysis with things. What's the most likely, and what's the least likely? Doesn't mean "very likely" is always right, but usually closer. So it's most likely they are the same car, different body designs. I mean the doors are the same, the engine is the same, much of the G4 and hatchback are the same car basically. One has a bigger boot lol.

It's most likely that Mitsubishi took the classic cost-cutting measure. Both sound like being in a tin can in a rainstorm.
