    I'm tempted to grab a pair even though I don't need them. But I'm not sure which ones Rockauto will decide to send out this week. if I get bare drums in a box my head will explode.

    It certainly pays $$$ to periodically look at the linings of the brake shoes!

    Worn-out linings ruin drums in no time. Brake shoes are cheap and easy to replace, but if the drum assemblies are ruined, your wallet will be under attack!

    This is certainly true, but eventually the drums will die of 'natural causes'.
