Drum/abs help (where is ABS pulse ring?)\

Im having a extremely amount of trouble understanding/ finding the ABS tone ring. My mechanic insists its a separate piece but from what ive found, its casted into the whole drum.
I have bought the two centric drums from RockAuto.
    I have a 2015 Mitsubishi mirage de.

Look at the drum you have taken off. The magnetic ABS ring is around the innermost part of the hub, the hub being an integral part of the drum, the ring is a redish-brown plasticy looking thing. It is clearly visible in a taken off drum. If you lay the drum onto a flat surface with the outermost part looking upwards, the drum will be resting on that ring.
It is sensitive to shock, so don't hammer it.

Look at the FSM for reference. If you don't have one, get one!

Sounds like it's your mechanics problem not yours. If they're stupid enough to throw away your tone rings then they can go to the dealer and buy new ones. You probably won't find them on rock auto.

I called the dealer and they said the abs rings arent sold separately.

My bad. Didn't realize that. Regardless, your mechanic should be hook for this. I recall someone ordering some rockauto drums assuming they came complete but were bare drums without studs or bearings.

You could try to source some used drums from car-part.com or ebay. I don't know if the ring is the same from 15-17. The drums are different but rings might interchange.

I agree but unfortunately nothing can be done until the cars fixed. I ordered the same Centric drums from the other discussion that “arz” ordered but im not sure how to post pictures on here to see if the rings on them.

Sorry for you if some IQ wielding braniac threw it away!!!
The drum is not just a drum, but a rear wheel hub assembly. Thankfully we can read the FSM.
See part number 5 in the drawing of the US Factory Service Manual (FSM) for the 2015 Mirage.

    Hello,
Ive looked at that diagram, but for some reason, the Mitsubishi dealers that ive called, said thats not a us manual. That #5 piece is impossible to find. They said it basically “doesn’t exist” for my car
