2018 Mirage with 78,000 miles. I'll change the CVT fluid for the 2nd time at 90,000.
CVT has been FLAWLESS. Slightly better in every way than the one in my 2015 Mirage. Hard to beat this tranny so far. Smooth and works well with the engine. Great mileage.

Thanks for adding your input here. It's sometimes too easy to focus on the failures so it's good to hear success stories too.

Doing good maintenance & hoping for the best is all one can do.

In regards to the 2015 with CVT issues - This is a good example of why I hate to see the pricing of new Mirages going up so drastically these past few months.

A base model Mirage for $10,000-12,000 had some appeal to it, because you are still getting a car with a 10-year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty. It would cover a CVT issue like this. Sadly affordable cars are disappearing from the market. I don't blame that on car companies, however. That is driven by consumers.

I miss more basic vehicles. If someone loves extra feature, they can spend away on an upper trim level.

America has driven away some of the more basic vehicle companies. Isuzu & Suzuki come to mind first. I miss these companies. I wish we had the Suzuki Jimny and their entire line up here. We have pushed these companies away.

Even if someone has the money, I am still surprised how much people are willing to spend on vehicles. At the same time, this also explains why the average vehicle on the road is 12.1 years old in the States.
Aye, the unicorn Mirage. I'm still not 100% convinced about its history as they never got back to me on it after a phone call and multiple emails. I hope its true though. I agree about missing Suzuki and Isuzu. My brother had an Isuzu Aixiom, but it wasn't reliable at all sadly. I did however grow up seeing a lot of Troopers and Suzuki Samurai. Suzuki lost a lot of credibility rebadging Daewoos IMO in this market.

97K miles / 156K KM on the clock. One fluid & filter change at around 50K miles / 80K KM. Due for another @ 100K miles / 160K KM. I had the TSB done at the first service. Much better torque converter lockup with less "hunting".

My 2015 has approx 114k on it, two fluid 'refresh' changes. Works fine, no complaints.

I guess I'm at 130000ish k miles. Fuel economy is degrading, may or may not need transmission service. I've never actually changed the transmission oil filter now that I'm researching. Drop fill of the transmission oil twice.

Our highest mileage cvt is a 2015 with 437xxxkms/271500miles. I changed the filters a few time early on but haven't touched them in years. Just drop and fill fluid changes for the last 135k km/83k miles.
