    Squeaking when idling

Hello, i hope you guys can help me on something... i got my 2015 mirage a couple weeks ago as a graduation gift and it has 51k kms on the motor/transmission as well as the body and it passed inspection with no problems but recently I’ve been hearing what sounds like a squeaking sound coming from the engine when it’s idling but only when you give it a little gas and when it goes down in RPMs i do have a video of it but I don’t think i can post video’s here... i also checked the belt and all is good if anyone has any suggestions please let me know! (It is still under warranty)

I just replaced my belt and it had a mild squeak the next day. I'm guessing I have to tension it again

If it's still under warranty, the best option would be to take it straight to the dealer, as no-one can diagnose your car 100% over the internet. It'll help by uploading the video, but it may or may not be a diy solution to it. Cheers!

Is this only happen when in Park or Neutral, and it off when in Reverse or Drive?
If yes, it maybe the exhaust link after catcon.

    Have you checked the following?
    1. Air inlet snorkle (known to become loose and rattle & squeak)
    2. Exhaust hangers (same as above)

It’s a standard transmission it only happens when idling in neutral

Upload the video to Youtube and post a link using the Insert Video feature as found in every Reply dialog box. That will embed the video in your post.
