    interesting. I usually change the stock speakers out first, however, these stock ones aren't too bad. I'll spend more time in the car to see if I still need to change them.

    the stock speakers are ok but if theyre over powered they will distort and perhaps the voice coil will start burning. Actually i changed out the factory speakers first, then i had to identify if they HU is powerful enough for them, i was wrong, so i just did a full system. But i will change out the speakers again for something way better, perhaps a component system or something

    Typically aftermarket speakers do not work well with factory head units, and likewise aftermarket head units do not work well with factory speakers (usually blow them); this is due to factory equipment and aftermarket operating at different ohms and wattage levels.

    Do you think there will ever be a Rockford system available in the mirage? My eclipse has the factory Rockford system and its tight
