Exclamation At what mileage is the timing chain replaced?

    Hello friends of mirage forum
There is a question that I have been asking, but there is no concrete answer.

At what mileage is the timing chain replaced?

Including download a manual for the mirage, it only comes as a change, but it does not come after how many miles you have to replace.

    Do timing chains last forever?
A: As a general rule, if an engine has a timing chain and the oil was changed on a regular basis, the timing chain should last the lifetime of the engine. Jul 28, 2017

I've own vehicles that recommended timing belts be replaced every 60,000 miles. I wouldn't replace a timing chain unless an issue arises.

There's no mention of the 414,000 mile (666,000+ km) Mirage @ White Bear having a timing chain replaced. I don't think Fummins is replacing them on his high mileage Mirage fleet. A former member had a Mirage with 300,000+ miles, & he never changed his timing chain.

Do good maintenance & a timing chain is not something you should really worry about.

as long as it sounds normal no need to replace it, its technically last until the engine dies.
