Geo Metro owners / former owners: When I was either in high school or just graduating, my neighbors got a Geo Metro. I cannot remember what it was called. But it was either a coupe or sedan. It had partially hidden headlamps, when you turn the lights on, a flap would lift up about 3 inches to totally uncover the headlights.

As I recall, my neighbors liked the car, except the dad (who bought the car for his daughter) strongly disliked the 3 inch moving flap. He thought it was a dumb thing to do (he was right, but whatever, it gave it some personality).

What Geo Metro was that? I can't find pictures of it. And was it also a 3 cylinder?

Geo model you are reffering to is 1991 Geo Storm (by 1992 it received a new headlight cluster with no moving flap). It was 4 cylinder only.

Those are pretty rare today but I bet almost everyone hasn't seen the Storm in station wagon form. Available for 2 years '91& '92 model years, was referred to as a "Wagonback" model. I saw one once in the 1990's and have never seen another one.

Geo was an interesting small car line up made by different manufacturers.

    Geo Metro = Suzuki
    Geo Storm = Isuzu
    Geo Prizm = Toyota
    Geo Tracker = Suzuki

Yeah, a Geo Storm. That's what it was. Blue. I was going to say, he never made a complaint about the engine / engine power. If it had been a 3 cylinder, he might have made mention of that. Thanks for the info!

Everytime I see a Geo Metro on the road I let the owner know I think their car is cool. Half the time they're amused and smile, the other half is usually met with ...... uhhh thanks lol
