I would just get a 5.0 Mustang, or a LSC. or a Ranger & do a 5.0 transplant... Probably cheeper & more fun then trying to make a Mirage into a racer... I have a really nice Ranger to make into a racer if you're interested... Just my opinion...

I literally got my Mirage so that I could concentrate on my 5.0 Turbo Ranger.

I would literally skip the Mirage. If you want something faster I'd just sell it as is and buy something else. You could dump thousands into a Mirage and still be slower than a stock Sonic or Corolla.

And it'd still have zero resale value, probably couldn't even give the thing away after tossing the airbags and taping up all the warning lights on the dash.
