Dashcam rear camera 2021 mirage.there is camera on screen with a wire which when connected gives power to rear camera but dashcam does not work do I need sd card to make it do so? Are these cameras stock or add on.

It is my understanding that a SD card is not needed to make the OEM rear camera work. Is your rear camera from Mitsubishi or is it an aftermarket product? Some pictures would be helpful.
