DIY.. Lose steering remote 2015 mirage

Sorry admin, can you make correction with the title should be loose not lose hahaha.. Thanks!

Good day guys! missed posting DIYs

Im sharing my problem with my 2015 OEM steering wheel remote. The button was lose or was removed from the base.

So i got it fixed.. and heres how.

    All you need is a:

    -26g stainless wire
    -wire cutter
    -small screw driver

note that the small squared white item in the middle can be removed, so that you can twist the wires.. same as to what i did.

what you have to do with the wire is to make a loop on one of the base where the white square it connected, then twist the wire until its snug but not too tight as you may broke the plastic base.

then make another loop for the second base then twist and cut the wire.

then swap it back in place.. put the board and its fixed.

it feels like new again.. and the button doesnt get stuck.

Is that factory or aftermarket switch? It's first time I see a square switch.
I wonder the look of cruise control switch.

this is for Philippine market only because they procure the audio system locally to lower the overall price we dont have the handsfree ecu, its all built in with the head unit even the usb connector is coming from the head unit.
