Regarding the RF setup, the metal bracket that's for the amplifier, can the amp be installed without it?

Can the sub be quicky disconnected and removed from the trunk?

My mirage is a 2021. If I got an older RF system it should work with the new 2021 head unit?

Is the file to update the amp still available from rf?

Pretty sure the amp can be installed anywhere the harness can reach, it's not big.

Mine is factory installed and has two anchor straps on each side with quick disconnect clamps incase of a roll over it doesn't bounce around. Then one main harness with a pigtail about 6" back that disconnects. The main box has velcro those holds it down to the carpet. Never removed mine but could probable be done in about 2min.
