    Hello Everyone

I saw MetroMPG start talking about the new Mitsubishi Mirage over on GeoMetroForum.com.

I figured that even though he's a Canadian, he's an alright guy.

" . . . us Metro die hards may have a worthy option to replace our cars ... one day." MetroMPG, 2/6/2013

I'll be most active in Geo Metro world, until the last one crumbles and it's elements are returned to the earth.

Thanks for leading the way, MetroMPG!

Choosing to take that as a compliment, I am.

I had a feeling the Metro fans in the US/Canada would take an interest in this car when they saw its specs. So when someone started a thread about the new Mirage, I popped in with more info.

I also had a feeling most of the guys would have that view! My '98 still only has ~30,000 km on it (~19k miles), so I certainly have no pressing need to get rid of it any time soon. Still, I like what I see in the design & philosophy of the new baby Mitsu.

Welcome to the site Geo Glenn. Hopefully after your last Metro rusts away you'll be able to pickup a Mirage for a very reasonable price.
Custom Mirage products: Cruise control kit, Glove box light, MAF sensor housing, Rear sway bar, Upper grill block

Current project: DIY Nitrous oxide setup for ~$100

    Thank you gentlemen.

The next car I buy for myself will be new. I'm not going to wait a few years and get one that has suffered the fate being previously owned. I see the horror of what previous owners can do on the Geo Metro Forum.

    Time to lurk a bit . . .
