2024 Mirage in Canada CVT only

No more standard transmissions on Mirages here in Canada.

They also increased the price. 2023 Mirage ES (manual) was C$14,298. 2024 Mirage ES (CVT) is C$16,998.

Well more reason to go for the Nissan Micra.
I wish it can be had in the states.

Mark - the Micra reminds me of your Festiva. What a car!

I believe Canada lost the Micra entirely a few years ago.

The base model Micra would have been appealing (price & handling), except their fuel economy wasn't all that great.

Every year I appreciate my little Mirage a little bit more!

Outside of the CVT over the manual transmission what is the extra $2,700 giving you?

They're dropping the Manual and increasing the price of a base cvt by $1500, from $15,498 to $16,998. It's sad they're dropping the manual...

It's not all bad news....I compared the specs of a 2023 and 2024 Cvt ES(base). Now the 2024's get heated seats, cruise and keyless entry whereas in the 2023 m/y you have to level up the the SE for $17,598. The base Es in 2023 had a weird combination of options, you get auto ac and bluetooth but had roll up rear windows.

Keyless entry(not push button start) and cruise are 2 things I could live without but would really rather not.
Now they have the frenchy "Noir" version...Or is that just a website screwup? It has me thinking the later because they show a picture of a base model hubcap car when you click on the GT trim.

For anyone keeping score, it looks like you will still be able to get a manual transmission in a 2024 Nissan Versa.

True but the EPA MPG rating is not the same as the Mirage G4. Also, the 23’ S manual variant has no push button start (20-22’ variant did however), and no Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, as reserved for SV, SER trim.
