FWIW, I considered buying used Mirage. Ones in decent shape weren't that much cheaper than new, and I was lucky to find a new one in stock, so I acted fast. I didn't even bother negotiating beyond getting the dealer fees knocked off, because I knew that the dealer would have someone willing to buy the car at sticker in no time, because of shortages, and wait times. The days of sub $15k new cars are gone, whether it's Canada or the US. And, for me, it doesn't make any sense buying used, when the savings are ~$1000.
