This ad popped up in my alerts today...

Guy who bought it from me is re-selling the car. Asking $3000! (Remember, I sold for $750)

I know I sold it cheap & could have got more money for it. But $3k seems a bit ambitious.

Evidence of the craziness in the used car market?

That's an older Lexus GS I believe. Pretty bulletproof; I wouldnt mind a stock one. Maybe drop a 2jz and a 100shot, then call it a day.

You said you could have sold it for more but didnt want the trouble.

Kid may have time in his hands.

True - I just wanted it gone.

Also, I only paid $1k for it 5 years ago.

Cars.com lists one GEO Metro in New Jersey, & that's it for the entire country.

I find it strange that they offer 99 pics of the car, but none of them show the interior or engine bay. Plus, it's an convertible which makes it even more strange.

Speaking of New Jersey, not too long ago, a 1992 Geo Metro came into my shop for a flat tire repair. Repairing flat tires isn't a problem, but when I looked underneath the car through the alignment hoist, the whole car rusted quite badly, from the rocker panels to the floorboards. No surprises since the car was bought new from New Jersey.
