Lots of complaints about the CVT tester:Ron Doron reviews the Mitsubishi Mirage and didn't have too many nice things to say about it. The struggling Japanese brand is looking to gain traction with the Mirage which achieves 44MPG on the highway, but the quality isn't quite there.
- engine noise, vibration
- power,
- steering/handling,
- highway "stability."
At least he mentions its strong points (unlike some reviewers):
- fuel economy,
- affordable entry level price,
- tight turning radius,
- easy to park.
But he apparently values the things it lacks more than the things it has:
In the end, he suggests buying a better used car if you only have enough money to get a new Mirage."This is really not a very good car... Not a lot of redeeming qualities."
