    thanks guys! looks like a 2017+ would work for me. i am in the southwest coast so rust is not a concern. now to wait for all the insane used cars prices to drop...

    skubee - You are on the right track in my opinion. I think for the most part, all the 14+ Mirages are fairly darn reliable if maintained well.

    That said, by shear mathematics alone, your best bet for reliability is defined by the budget you have to apply to your purchase. Meaning the newer the vehicle, or perhaps even more important, the lower miles on the vehicle is going to be the ones that will give you the largest amount of time / miles before you see problems. That is assuming all vehicles are maintained reasonably (which can be quite an assumption).

    The stink of it is, it is not clear when these prices may come down. It looks like it may last a while. I wish the best to you.
