Read the trouble codes generated by your car and fix them.

Replace ankle, knee or hip joints.

Limp mode means overheating of cvt. What color is the fluid?

Is this regarding your transmission? Sounds like the CVT valve body has been contaminated with debris and will need service or replacement. You might want to check with a competent, trusted transmission repair shop for further diagnosis.

What do you mean by "getting limp mode to go away"? Rather, what is your car doing exactly by being in "limp mode".

I guess you did kind of answer what "kind" of code you are getting. How about sharing the exact code(s) that your car has stored. There should be a letter followed by some numbers. Can you post that instead.

    What year is your car?

How many miles are on it?

    What's the history on it?

Going out on a limb here but for many reasons I'm gonna assume you have a cvt not a manual transmission.

If it is a cvt has it ever been serviced? How does the fluid look. Is it black or light brownish blue/green, almost clear? Does it have a massive puddle under it?

Do you ever take it off any sweet jumps?

Often when there is a cvt problem the shift indicator on the cluster will flash slowly, if it's overheated it'll flash quickly(or maybe it's the other way around?). Can you post whether you noticed this happening at all.

I reluctantly agree with he-man, it's probably gonna be a lot easier to just take it in based on the huge amounts of diagnostic information provided thus far.

    My apologies 😅
Its a 2015 mirage de with CVT that ive had these issues with for the last 6 months.
Ive had the car for a year and a half and have had so many issues. The only code that has come up for me is the Stuck on/stuck Solenoid “C”. I had the fluid changed out partially a month and a have ago & have to do it again. But it was completely black with no smell other than the normal fluid smell. I cant go on the highway for more than 25 minutes without it going into limp mode and it stops accelerating.

Everyone has been just telling me to get rid of the car because the Transmission is most likely going - but i have no way to get rid of it because the Dealership ripped me off and wont let me trade it in.

So, its a lose / lose situation.

How many miles on the car? The CVT7 is interchangeable across all years. I can say that thanks to Fummins. Find a low mile used CVT7 to drop in it.
