Yes, they are used for audio steering switches, illumination, and horn.

FreeYourSOUL, you should be able to turn on cruise control using the pins at the ECU if only to verify that the ETACS programming changes worked.

As bro Satria pointed out last time, for Asian attrage/g4 there are no wiring from ecu to clock spring. I also did my own conn checks and confirmed this. We are not as lucky as the Americans and Europeans where the hardware is there and just need to activate through ETACS.

I tried to order the right pins/sockets that will match the ecu connector but they are hard to find. I remembered from my research the plugs are the same as Mitsubishi evos ecu connectors. If someone has a link to where I can purchase the matching pins for the ecu side connector and the clock spring connector I would be thrilled and be able to complete my cruise control addition.

My mirage has all the wiring from ecu to clockspring, what i don't have is wiring inside the clockspring.

I did activate the cruise control for my mitsubishi xpander, i was using pins for computer cables (female dupont connector). All you have to do is connect two wires to clockspring pin 6&7 (socket C306), and to ECU pin 93 & 94 (socket C227, behind snail like cover on passenger floor).

Hmmm.. those DuPont female sockets looks just like regular connectors on my R/C vehicles receivers and servos. If they are I have plenty of those laying around. I am assuming these lock properly in the connector housing of both ecu side and clock spring side?

You are very lucky that you have the wiring already there from the ecu of the mirage. What PIN numbers are they at? And can you share a photo of the part number of the ecu on yours? I wonder if the ecu and pin outs changed over the years.

Yes, it can lock properly to both clockspring & ecu. You need to open socket's lock before insert the pins.

I think all mirage have same ECU, surprisingly they have same ECU for some mitsubishi vehicles.
For example both my mitsubishi mirage(2015) and xpander(2018) shared same ECU (i don't know the P/N) and wiring diagram. As I said before, I did the cruise control for my xpander based on this thread.

Hi, found this post, it said that no LED on cluster. So I try the last setup on road, still no light but the cruise was active. Any idea how to enable the missing LED?
