    1. Try your experiment at the ECU connector to eliminate questions of wiring. See this post for more info. I don't think Canadian / North American 2015s have this problem though.
    2. I read somewhere here that someone shorted the pins to start the cruise function, not an 180Ω resistor. I'm still searching for that post...

I checked the wiring months ago. I'll check again tomorrow more thoroughly.
I've done the same thing on my mitsubishi xpander based on this thread before and it works just fine. And i know some people on Youtube done it on 2017 mirage, mine is 2015...i don't know if there are ECU differences between model year.

I don't think that will work. In order to know what button is pressed, ECU read some certain voltage as input and certain resistance value needed to produce that.

Found it on lancer forum, he just shorted the pin because there is no resistor between the on/off switch and ECU.

Which one is right? Both diagrams are from Mirage 2015 workshop manual.
On the left there is resistor before on/off switch, but on the right there is none.

Good question. Have you shorted your cruise wiring to see what happens?

Found the problem, there are pins missing in the clockspring. Guess i have to replace or mod my clockspring.

Ugh what a pain. Sorry that you don't have the full wiring harness.

Do you have a 4 wire connector on the brake switch? My Space Star didn't. Only 2 wires for the brake light. I can imagine there are different cable trees, but why would they produce a cable tree which is half-suitable for CC?

Yes, all the cables and switch are there so i think my car fully prepared for cruise control. Simply add the switch, enabling it via etacs decoder and i'm good. But i was wrong, turns out my clockspring isn't compatible yet. I never read on any forum if there is clockspring with half cables/pins.

Are those other pins in use? Perhaps you can use those instead?
