Looks awesome Dirk! Give us a rundown of the differences between your 2014 & 2021. Drive better, cruise control better? How did the transaction go?

I call it Tojo's Revenge! I was very impressed on my drive back from Albany GA to Atlanta GA ( a little over 400 miles round-trip). I did 75 to 80 mpg the whole way home and avg 40mpg. By contrast, the G4 with the fancy alloys and cheap tires avg 36mpg going the same speed. Those Falkens tires are fantastic. I also noticed under the hood a denser covering to deaden road noise. It seemed quiter than the G4 but that could just be in my head.

The Andriod Auto works great, as well as the touchscreen, which I'm hoping was made by Mitsubishi Electronics lol. It is distracting though.

Fummins was correct, the seats aren't any different, just stiffer so I'll be putting in my foam seat covers. I'm also transferring the new floor mats over to the G4 and putting in my old weather techs. I also have an envelope style cargo net I'm putting back in.

The cruise control was smoother than the Rostra unit in our G4. It didn't kick up very hard in rpms so I'm very pleased with that.

7miles if you need an OEM spare tire kit or OEM steel wheels, let me know.

I want to thank Mark, Top Fuel, Invuik, 7miles, Fummins, Basic, everybody for the advice. All in all we over paid by about $3k IMO but it was the best deal in a crappy market. There are 2019 Mirages on Carvana for $20k and 30k miles. I'm thrilled I was even able to find a new Mirage.

Exactly as you called it. Still just mediocre comfort but with the new car stiffness.

It beats the 2014 out in mpg, amenities, and rear styling, but nothing beats OG 2014/15 front fascia styling, IMO. All of the heavily modded Mirages have that style, that I've seen.

Transaction was smooth, I was only there for 30 mins. They tried to sell us an extended warranty lol. Unbelievable.

Oh and 6 way seating position is a joke. The seat hardly lowers at all. If I was 5ft tall I'm sure I'd appreciate it though.

First thing I did when I got home! Lol. I'm shocked they survived the 200 mile journey north.
