Thread: Replacing Manual Climate Control Switch(s)

    Pretty easy test. Push button. Light should come on and stay on. If it goes out when you let go switch is effered. Buy a car with ac and test it out.

    Update: AC works again. I installed the new switch/climate panel, had the AC evac and recharged and it’s running like normal again. Everything was pretty much plug in play as stated earlier. I did get a little cramped with space when I had to pull the cables out though. I compared the switches when I pulled the old one out from my dash and I noticed that the snowflake button stays pressed down when turning on the AC. My old one was not staying down and was springing back up. It looks like the switch cover is held on by some clips where it can be popped off and maybe cleaned underneath or repaired.
