    Now we can see why the key doesn't pull out LOL. Thanks for doing that. I might give this a try tomorrow when I can get near a vice.

    Yeah, I'd say a little over engineered on Mitsubishi's part.

    im sure there's a reason for this, im sure many idiots myself included occasionally try to remove the key without shifting into park. Or while the car is in Accessory mode.
