Mitsubishi part stores show that the model for the G4 sits on top of the spare wheel, and the picture appears to show some wiring that gets plugged in just above the sub, into the base of the car I assume? Well I took my spare tire out and did not see anywhere for the harness to plug into. Does the G4 version of the sub come with a harness long enough to reach the amplifier that mounts in the dash? I’ve asked people on the FB group if 2019+ would work with 2017 and they claimed it should.

Do you have a G4 or hatchback? Will the harness/wiring have to run along the door trim to the front to the amp?

g4 and it fits right to the trunk. yes you have to run the wires but its really simple
