What size are your winter tires? My wife has Barum Brillantis2 175 65 r14 tires, very cheap and loud but robust in tread depth. Since putting those on with Vision Cross 14x5.5" alloys, her mpg has dropped to about 35mpg combined.

My 2021 has OEM alloys 14x4.5" and new OEM Falken 165 65 r14 tires and I avg about 39 combined.

Tires have been accounted for. Weather is more or less the same as when I left but the economy is quite a bit worse I'm afraid. For what its worth, OEM alloys, 175 winter tires in the winter, 2 Goodyear, 2 random brand. A shop near me changed them on alloy for 60 CAD, it's worth it for not ever having to worry about the tires going flat since the seals are redone twice a year.

Filled up today 25.15 liters for 290.2 km of Canadian winter driving. That works out to 8.67 L/100km (27.13 mpg).
