How much shaking is normal in a new mirage?

A long time ago, like 30 - 40 years ago, 3 cylinder engines were vibration beasts (from I've heard).

The old Subaru Justy had a large heavy weight in the steering wheel to (I think) keep your hands from going numb...

Bought my first NEW car, a 2022 mirage. I love it, gets good MPG, the 5 speed feels nice, clutch is good, all around a nice car.

But it shakes. Of course, I knew it would shake being a 3 cylinder. But how much should it shake? I've heard of occasional screw ups with counter balance shafts from the factory and I know cars have a bathtub curve for when problems are likely to show up - electrically or mechanically. So how much shaking is "typical?"

I can feel it in my seat while idle and BARELY in my wheel. It makes my water vibrate in the cup holder and my exhaust is doing a fun little dance almost an inch all over. I can see the motor shaking under the hood, though only a little. Normal? This is the biggest purchase of my life so far, just being diligent!

It's absolutely stunning!

Traffic is getting out of hand though. Over half a million new people in the last ten years along a 100 mile stretch of endless suburbia, with hardly any road expansion and almost all of these drivers suck! :/
