    Mirages, Mirages everywhere!!!!!

I just wanted say that I've seen 2 Mirages in my apartment complex that I've never seen before! I'm starting to see Mirages all the time now in Atlanta and the greater metro area. That is all thank you.

I just completed a 2000 mile (round trip) to LA and back from Oregon. Saw a few on the journey but the most memorable was driving through Stockton on I-5 at about 3:30am and a '21 or '22 blew past me doing at least 90. I'm thinking "that CVT is never gonna make 100k"

I've also noticed a couple in the parking lot where I work that I never noticed before. Maybe the $1.75 per liter has moved some people from the Super Duty 4 door 4 Wheel Drive drivers to Mirage Drivers???
I didn't know what to do, so I didn't do anything

If the current trend continues, current Ford, Chevy, & Chrysler car owners will not be buying a new replacement car from the same car company. The term "car company" doesn't even apply any more in some cases.

Chevy is not only dropping their most affordable car, but the are also dropping their most affordable SUV.

Economy vehicles are dropping left & right. I am not sure that I would even call a Mirage an economy car at its current pricing, but what else is there?

Maybe the combination of high fuel prices and rising interest rates might play a role? I've noticed a few more than usual lately.

I haven't seen any new 2021+ ones yet though.

The average price Americans paid for a new car topped $47,000 for the first time in December. The average final transaction price last month was $47,077. The figure caps off a year of unprecedented price increases." Jan 14, 2022

That's an old figure by today's standards. Paying $40,000-50,000 for the average new vehicle seems nuts. Paying interest on that for 7-8 years seems even more crazy to me.

I am glad that I went into this time period with two vehicles that I am very content with. There is nothing on the market today that I like better than what I already have. If anything, i wish I could buy a brand new 1st generation Honda CR-V AWD 5-speed manual (1997-2001 vintage). It did what I wanted a vehicle to do without being flashy.

Nothing impresses me today, except the Suzuki Jimny (& it's not sold here)!

I saw one on the road today. And I hardly ever see one.

I have to drive to Marietta today. For 2 reasons, both work related. I'll see if I see any other Mirages.

I live about 8 min away from White Bear Mitsubishi. So, I'll always spot one. I think there are at least 3 around my neighborhood too. I'm the only 2014-15. The rest are the 17+ models.

Also, the 22' models look GOOOOD lol I want one.
