Over $50 to fill my Mirage

I spent $50 and change on gas the other day to fill up my Mirage from empty (one square left on the dash reader). Only broke the $40 fill up barrier earlier this year.

What is next? So glad I don't have a gas guzzler. I get gas is way more money in other countries but it is still more than I am used to. Hopefully more people buy subcompacts because of this so something good comes out of the gas prices.

I filled up 32L in March at $1.66/l. That cost $53. It dropped to around $1.40 but now it's headed back up again. Stupid gas. Stupid diesel is even worse, it's almost $2/l here right meow.

Superstore gas station was $1.92 yesterday. My friend has a Kawasaki motorcycle, has a 15 litre gas tank. Goes very far on that small amount of gas. If you are not hauling home groceries that is a practical commuter vehicle. Just worry one person textiing as they drive saying LOL then squish lol.

There is a very good George Orwell essay about the language and the meaning of words, but I just wanted to complain about the price of gas lol.

Honestly pinches my bottom line. I need to start baking more lasagnas and dividing them up and putting them in the freezer.

Has everyone seen the video of Anthony Hopkins with his cat, playing the piano?

Probably gonna get worse before it gets better eh. If ever. I have been walking around more.

My hydro bill is almost the same at my house as it was at my old apartment, so I feel like I could really control my spending with an electric vehicle. I just don't want to pay for any upgrades to my house's electrical system.

I’m more annoyed with lumber prices. 4 years ago I was burning left over scraps of lumber in my fire pit. Now I’m hoarding little pieces like it’s gold. I might have to replace my fence with pallets this summer.
