He doesn't come on here too often I don't think... I would comment on one of his YT videos. I think that might be the best.

I think you'd be best starting out by figuring out how you're going to "tune" it. I don't know for sure if anyone has had good success tapping the OEM ECU and/or reprogramming it. Man, that would be nice if they have. I think one guy who has tons of experience bricked his OEM ECU, but kept messing with it and finally got it back to working status. That would scare the bejesus out of me.

And due to the lack of much OEM ECU tapping, I *think* you'll have to go with a standalone ECU. I believe that's what Dirtgeartv did, and that's where he is going to be helpful. Letting you know how he's tuned. Standalone ECU's are quite good, and flexible. But I don't know how you'd go about loading up an initial tune. Again, you'd need guidance from Dirtgeartv on that.

Without a proper tune, it's not going to meet its potential.

The Dirtgear guy has something figured out, I can't remember if it's a stand alone efi or not.
There was another guy who was asking for rom file or something for a non-maf car not that long ago. He seemed to something about at least reflashing the ecu, but also had the attitude to go with it. Way more of a condescending dickhead than I!
