Happy Mother's Day!!! Post something nice about your Mom.

Say something nice about your Mom, she's the best friend you'll ever have. My Mom is an accomplished artist in the Atlanta Art scene since 1986. She's had pieces commissioned by Coca-Cola in the 90s and is now in semi-retirement, designing satchels and purses made from fabric from the 1920s. Proud of ya Ma!

    Somebody go next.

    Nice tribute to your Mom!

My Mom still annoys me at times, but I wouldn't trade her for another!

My mother turned 99 a few days ago, and is in best health! She even may survive me too, who knows.

99! What's her secret to such long life? I used to work with the elderly as a nurse aide and it always amazed how at senior assisted living facilities, the women always out numbered the men 9 to 1. They live so much longer than men on average. Thank you for sharing!

And your favorite memory of her as a child?

My mom is 90 and in good health. I was able to have lunch and spend a couple hours with her this afternoon.

She never eats much and has always been very slim, very seldom ate any meat, and nothing at all deep fried, no chips, sweets or other edible garbage, eats lots of fruit. Up to age 92 she got up at five every morning and rode her bicycle about two hours or so and then had or skipped breakfast. Then she rode another two hours or so and prepared lunch. Twice a week she went to 1 1/2 hours of aerobic. She quit her bike and aerobic just a few years ago because of a receeding sense of balance.

Wow! To thrive at 99 and not just be simply alive, is amazing. Cheers to her to showing us a way. Hopefully the German government will send her a special letter congratulating her longevity, like the Queen of England does for all her British subjects that become centenarians. Thanks for sharing.

    What'd she have for lunch? It's probably a big reason she's 90.

My mom is great, but my 98 year old grand-mother is greater. She informed me the other day that "they" keep telling her to eat a banana every day for the potassium (she hates bananas) and she then informed me that there's more potassium in an oz. of potato chips than an oz. of bananas so she will just eat potato chips thank you very much!

P.S. I looked it up, and of course she is right!
