    The forum upload is there to use as much as you'd like. We would much rather you upload them here so they never disappear. Its a common issue with forums. Nothing worse than looking up your favorite DIY thread to find no pics!

    I have 1,130 images in 53 albums here on the forum. I've reached limits adding to an album but I just start a new album and keep adding more dopey pictures. See them for yourself.

    Uploading pictures and attaching them to a post is simple but has some limitations:
    1. The picture is associated with that single post, and
    2. The picture does not always reliably appear for all viewers within that post, however it is formatted.
    3. Once attached to a post, it can be difficult to find and I'm not sure if it can be re-used in another post.

    I typically upload pictures to an Album under my Forum Profile. Once the picture is uploaded to the forum and saved in an album, I use the BB Code to insert it within a post. It winds up showing up reliably for viewing and I can use the picture in as many posts as I want.

    Thanks for the info Eggman! I will take a look at that.

    One thing I did learn in the past is that there is a limit to the number of images you can upload in a single post.
