Well that's a big bummer, Mitsuko. Keep us posted.

Yeah thanks.. I miss my dear car already. My dad always said by the best you can afford and take care of it. He had a 62 Chrysler until 1977. It was as good as new, and last I heard, was still around. I took great care of Mitsuko and planned on having her for a long time. But not to be. I hope soon to be another Mirage owner.

Technically, there are 5 Mirage trim levels, because 4 is not enough. RF CVT is missing. It would be wedged in-between the ES & LE trim levels.

LOL...I don't know why...but reading that just sounded funny. It would have been interesting to be in the room when the Mitsubishi marketing gurus were brainstorming about how many Mirage trim levels they could possibly dream up.

I'm not surprised. Mits changes a lot for parts, the mirror is $400, the headlight assy is $575, metal brackets are insane. I don't know how this compares to other cars but with Mirage being MSRP ~15,000 more or less it will written off more often than say a $30K cIVIC with equivalent damage.
Zero, 2014 ES Plus 5MT, written off but not forgotten.
Zero II, 2014 SE, 5MT, climate She's HOME now!
    Shelby AKA "Cute", 2017 ES 5MT, A/C.

Mirage owners look at the world differently than everyone else, but in a better way
We're driving the Beetle of the 21st century, the greatest small car now available!

Any idea what the buy back is for your car? Might be good to buy it back and part it out or something?

If it's not too late, could you grab the heated seat switch out of the thing? I want to add headed seats to my car

Makes me wonder if he owns or will own a Mirage.
