Some countries are pledging to ban gasoline and diesel in the next 10 years. While that'll reduce demand it also reduces the economy of scale of the oil industry. Oil Producing nations see this coming but currently still are pumping to support their oil biased economies. Once they can shift away to new sources of revenue locking down and minimizing oil exports isn't unthinkable. Then in 10 years we'll have different people in government who hopefully won't be ambivalent or openly hostile to the thought of the fact which is climate change.

What was gas right before the Great Recession like $4.20 a gallon? Consider inflation by 2030 that's around $6, add in a late 70s style OPEC export cut... $10+ per gallon won't be unreasonable.

Today I went into Bramley centre to purchase some tincture (whisky) and there it was, the first Mirage I've seen in Blighty, so they do exist here

According to you garage entry your Space Star is brown. So that blue one on the photo is not yours, and you didn't see it?

Mine is bronze, I think it's called copper bronze. The blue one I saw is actually grey.

There are two Mirages in the picture you posted. A dark black or gray one up front and a bright blue one parked in the background.

Neither of them look like your Mirage.

I was just in Charleston, South Carolina visiting my father and I saw at least 4 other Mirages including a G4. Theyre getting pretty popular in the southeast I believe because of the great used prices with no rust damage you can get down here.
