P.S. - Did it come with their stuffed toy white bear?[/QUOTE]

No bear! I guess they were in a hurry to get it on the truck. The old Honda is still a great car, but the wife said it was time to have a change. I guess after 19 years she was ready for something different.

I was VERY disappointed to see that as well. I asked them not to put any stickers or emblems on it, but I guess they thought screwing two holes into the new front bumper didn't count.

For those not in the know, Boone is home to Appalachian State, my school's biggest football rival.
I know I know! I have never owned an Automatic (or CVT) before getting my 2018, but I'm not getting any younger and sometimes I just yearned for the "Push and go" lifestyle. My wife on the other hand said she wanted a little more pep and hadn't had a stick shift since shortly after we met so she got the 5 speed.

If you look at White Bear Mitsubishi's new car inventory, every car seems to have a front plate already mounted on it.

I personally would say something to them. If you live in a state that doesn't require a front plate, having one installed by the dealership can be a huge turn off. It may be a practice they may want to reconsider. If no one says anything, it will never change.

Mine came with the same front plate, but Wisconsin requires front plates. In my case, I am glad it was taken care of. Not that tapping the front bumper is that hard to do. I actually have my metal front plate mounted over their plastic one. I thought the plastic one may buffer the metal plate scraping the bumper.

I ask that all of my vehicles are free of dealer stickers, too. Pulling a sticker off is easy. Fixing two holes in the front bumper - not so much!

I couldn't have done it man. I would have either been so sick to my stomach, or just straight P'd off that I don't think I could have goe through with it.

I saved over $3,500 out-the-door buying from White Bear Mitsubishi verses my local Wisconsin Mitsubishi dealership, & it was delivered to my home for free.

Minnesota, Wisconsin, & Iowa require front license plates. I'm sure his Mirage was posted with front plates already mounted on it when he purchased it. Look at their new inventory. They (all models) all have front plates mounted. Waiting for one that hadn't been delivered to them would have been the other option, & knowing WB they would have done that for him.

It's something to take note of when buying a new car, but I don't think White Bear has done anything intentionally wrong here. I think a person can only be mad at themselves for not noticing or catching this before purchasing a vehicle from them.

I want to add WB delivered my Mirage with no payment down & no papers signed. We signed the paperwork on my kitchen table. If I changed my mind, I was out nothing.

Beyond Minnesota, Wisconsin & Iowa, they apparently use truck delivery.

That was our case as well. The same car was nearly $4500 more at our dealer! I just left. This is a place with one of those fake "We will meet it or beat it" deals. But of course they had a loophole after trying to scam me out of the extra $$.
I removed the front plate, and I can live with it. Mostly because my wife is just so darn happy. Keep an eye on my YouTube channel "Farpoint Farms" for a new video on it. I go over the changes from the 2018 to the 2021.

He really is! He knows NOTHING about cars, and yet gets paid to shill the top-dollar ones to the sheep that watch him.
