Hey does anyone know if the stock HID headlight assembly is a direct swap into the car without hids?

Direct swap no. There's some rewiring to be done but I don't recall who on here did it and what had to be done.

I've done it and it's not plug and play.
Here's what you'll need.

I've already pulled the trigger on the lights. I'd be ever so grateful if you could actually take pictures of your wiring or maybe write up a little guide. Im looking at your picture and while it make sense its kind of over whelming because its everything at once and its so simplified.
Also instead of all this wiring it seems like it would be simpler to just put LED bulbs in the xenon housing and plug the turn signal in as its a regular bulb. Any thoughts on that as it wouldnt require any sort of cutting.

So tons of work and still just a wip. Waiting for it to be night and see if this worked well. Its got led in the hid.
Right now the back of the lights are held literally with hot glue just for testing. Either way i've learned a lot. We'll see if its worth not just using the HID as is.
