Best way to get best fuel milage?

My avg. is 48 MPG highway and interstate.

I keep the speed at 70 MPH on the interstate, 60 MPH on the HWY.

What is the best grade fuel to put in the car?
If I was to push it harder but the ECO light remained on would it mean I'd maximum fuel milage at higher Speeds?
My best avg. MPG was 48.1.
On any given day I get 46.5 MPG.

What is the best MPG you guys ever got?
I drive 50 miles one way, it seems that the longer I drive it the better gas miles I'd get because it continues to climb, is it possible to get 55 MPH with the 2014 Mirage with the CVT?

    From this thread:

Speed vs. mpg/mileage/fuel economy chart - Mirage 1.2L 5-spd and CVT

The faster you drive, the worse your fuel economy will be. It's mostly the result of increased aerodynamic drag as speed increases. This is why the engineers put so much effort into reducing the car's drag coefficient.

Premium fuel with higher octane (and less ethanol) may let you get slightly higher fuel economy, but I doubt it'll offset the added cost of the fuel.

It makes sense that the average mileage climbs the further you go for a couple of reasons: 1) you're averaging out the initial low fuel economy at the of the trip before you get on the highway, and 2) as a car warms up it gets more efficient. (Not just the coolant temp, but the entire drivetrain including transmission, bearings, cv joints & tires.)

You're doing decently given the speeds you're driving!

What about making a garage entry for your car: add car

Also I hope you'll consider keeping a fuel log too!

Thanks, I'll work on lowering my speeds some.
I was told that after the engine gets more mileage on it I'll then get better gas milage?
As of now I only have 540 miles on it.
    Still very new.

I've heard that too -- about a new car "loosening up" and getting better fuel economy with more miles on it.

Can't personally confirm or deny that one.

It happened in a dodge ram i had. It "broke in" at around 33,000 km. It got a tad better mileage and what felt like a bump in power.
