yes, do take that in asap and please keep us informed as to what happened!
Well, the dealer "turned the light out" without really saying what was wrong.

OK, got a more detailed answer from the dealer...
"Just successfully called Mitsubishi and they said that it was the front left airbag that made the light turn on and that they checked to see if the airbag was working and it was and they said that the light is usually triggered by a certain wire being faulty but they checked and that wire was fine so they turned the light off and told me to tell them if it comes back. "
Not a very satisfying answer, unfortunately.
But I smiled when I read "they checked to see if the airbag was working and it was".
Dealership: "Miss, we tested your airbag - it worked great! Unfortunately, you now have some front bumper damage. You can pick up your car any time."

Yeah, it sounds like: "We couldn't find the precise reason for the fault, so we just turned the light off. No worries!"
I wonder if this "failure" is enough to open a complaint with NHTSA.

Hi Folks,
If you got a receipt for the repair by your dealer, the problem/correction should be printed out on it. The below photo is the odometer cluster on a 2014 Mirage with only 778 miles and the light kicked. Turns out this was the front left airbag sensor and it is a known issue for the Mirage (not all appear to be affected - just sporadically shows up on some). The sensors are currently on back order if that is any indication of the scale of the problem. Prediction: a recall for these sensors.....

Thanks, CrazyJerry -
Where did you get the info that this is a known issue? Dealer?
