My fiancee and me both enjoy our black mirage ALOT.
Its an excellent car that does EXACTLY what it says it does....Get you to your destination as cheaply as possible while remaining dry and entertained

I bought my '15 in December of '14 to replace my Geo Metro, which had about 260,000 miles on it. My girlfriend had a Chevy Metro at the time, and one day I needed to do something to it maintenance-wise so she had to take my Mirage.
She drove it one night and said, "Okay, let's go get me one of these."
In February of '15, she bought one of the last '14s on the lot at the local dealership. I even got $100 for bringing her in! I think situations like mine are a large part of why the Mirage is getting awards for owner loyalty. That and they are so damned cheap!

His and hers. Mine was the 15 ES. Now mine is the 17ES with 5mt. They're excellent cars. If I make it to 2027 with them... Life will have been awesome lol

I have had my '17 G4 just over a month and a little more than 300 miles. I don't drive much since I work at home, but I can say that the Mirage is nowhere near the 3 wheeled ox cart the magazines make it out to be. I am quite pleased with Mitsuko!
For the same reason anyone buys a new car when their current one still serves... Upgrade.
Here on this forum we have been tracking the many improvements made from the '14 model to the '17 and I decided it was worth trading up. I would have loved to keep the '14 as a second car but I require a vehicle that can tow a trailer and can't afford 3 autos.
Will weld for beer.
