900 for coil overs is reasonable, when my warranty expires I will be looking to replace my well used suspension with some cool overs, I doubt they will leave the max height setting though with the bad roads around here.

Couple thoughts:
1. Did you remove the struts to put on the springs (can't imagine how you wouldn't have), if so your alignment went out of spec. that's the likely cause for your new shake from 62-75mph, at least that would be my first guess. ***
2. If it was "bouncy" (in the rear) it's very likely the damper was overwhelmed by the spring and it couldn't control the rebound. This is why it's not a good idea (as a lot of folks on here have said) to do just springs. One really needs the whole package: springs & dampers. As for the expensive price of "coilovers," I was of that thought too, until I went looking for a SINGLE rear shock for my motorcycle (it is a racing/performance adjustable damper), its rear shock (and this is a lesser expensive model) is 2/3 the going 'coilover' set price for our rides...
3. Thanks for taking one for the team!!!
*** if it's shaking through the steering wheel, it's the front end. If it's the car as a whole shaking (like you can see it in an unoccupied passenger seat-back) it's a rear end issue. If it's the rear end symptoms I would guess that the spring & OEM damper combo are to blame. Is it gone now that you put the stock rear springs back on?
