Cool. And the Trabant was 2 stroke?

Yes, a 2 cylinder, 0.6L one. It's like two big lawnmowers, and it actually does sound (and smoke!) like two big lawnmowers. It has that characteristic 2-stroke powerband, too: a sudden surge of power a few hundred RPM's off idle abruptly dropping off somewhere around 4k RPM.

I have always been a fan of 2 stroke motors most likely from all the fun I had on old dirtbikes, I would love to drive a 2 stroke automobile, just added this to my bucket list! lots of other weird **** on that bucket list...haha
My slowest had to be my 79 Chevrolet Luv truck. It was only about 75 hp from a 4 cyl engine. I bought the stick shift which helped pickup a little bit
It was 4 wheel drive and was EXCELLENT in snowy/icy conditions.

1981 Chevette Diesel that had been ridden hard and put away wet when I got a hold of it. I never got a chance to get it properly sorted and as such, it was an absolute dog.

The slowest unmodified car I've driven was a Chevrolaewoozuki Aveo. That's the "death" car. That is, by far, the WORST car on the roads here. The Mirage is 100x the car of the Chevrolaewoozuki Aveo. It was also slow. Especially when I'd accidentally hit the 'Hold' button and it would get start out in OD.
Slowest, modified, was a Jeep Wrangler with the 2.5L I4 and 35'' tires. THAT was slow. Top speed was about 55 in 3rd gear. 4th gear and 5th gear ... wouldn't work. And it took forever to get there. 55 was foot to the floor for a few minutes.
Have also drove a 18 wheeler. Those are pretty slow when loaded.
As far as owned? I don't think I've had any slow vehicles. My Jeep is slowing down a bit - getting up there in age and has oversized tires. It'll get lower gears (3.55 to 4.56) to liven it back up a bit

Me too! I've always owned 4 cylinder trucks my entire life. The Mirage feels like an F1.
Wait a minute, I take that back. My parents had a VW bus. THAT was the slowest car I ever drove by far. It topped out at 55-60 mph. The only good thing was that you could keep your foot pressed all the way down on the accelerator so you didn't have to worry about getting a cramp.

I was waiting for someone's air-cooled VW story.

My 05 fortwo was my slowest car ever but not by much.....the runner up was my 1978 Chevette with the gas engine.....IIRC the 0 to 100 Km time was 25 seconds. The smart was around 30 seconds, I smile thinking about the Chevette with the diesel engine!

Even with the bed empty, my old 92HP four cylinder s10 was slower than the Mirage. The few times I hauled 1800-2000 pounds of bricks in the back it did 0 to 60 in about a minute and a half.
